Alessandra Migliore
Welcome!
I am a management scholar affiliated with Politecnico di Milano, School of Management, and I am a research fellow at IESE Business School, Center for Business and Society.
My research examines place-based mechanisms in knowledge-intensive and entrepreneurial organizations. In particular, I study how organizational spaces and places shape individual, team, and organizational performance.
I am particularly interested in organizations operating in marginalized and resource-constrained settings (e.g., non-metro areas) and in female organizational members (e.g., founders, employees).
Methodologically, my research relies primarily on quantitative methods, complemented by qualitative insights.
I am an active member at the Academy of Management (OMT & ENT Divisions) and the European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS). I am vice-president of the Research Group on Collaborative Spaces (RGCS).
As part of my work in academia, I strive to support diversity and inclusion, and I have a strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches in management research.
